“As the very name suggests, it’s difficult to think of a better pairing than with a vintage watch — in particular those with warm metals.

If I think about the most classic, most timeless execution of a strap, the end result would be what was achieved here.

The tonality of the leather has a tactile warmth to it, which will certainly patina over time — something I think is very befitting when accompanying a vintage piece.

Classics are classics for a reason. When a timepiece is best suited with this style in mind, this particular strap suits the part beautifully.

It is equally elegant and supple on the wrist, making it effortless in fit, and it might even become my daily choice given how naturally it sits on the wrist.

With this classic Calatrava from the 1950s, it feels like a natural fit.

At first glance it might seem like a relatively common brown hue — it is most certainly not. It is discreet, but undeniably chic.”
