Not Sure Which Strap Suits Your Watch? Try It On First

Choosing a watch strap is not only about finding a colour you like. The same strap can create a completely different impression depending on the watch case, dial, proportions and even how the watch looks on your wrist.

A colour that appears understated on its own may bring out a subtle detail in the dial. A textured leather may give a modern watch more character, while a cleaner finish can make a vintage watch feel more refined.

To make exploring these possibilities easier, we have introduced Try It on Your Watch across our Watch Straps collection.

See the Strap on Your Own Watch

Every strap listed on our Watch Straps page can now be previewed with your own watch.

Instead of trying to imagine how a particular colour or material might look, you can upload a photograph and see a visual preview before making your choice.

You can use either:

  • A clear photograph of the watch on its own
  • A photograph of the watch being worn on your wrist

A standalone watch photograph makes it easier to focus on the relationship between the strap, dial and case. An on-wrist photograph provides a more complete impression of the overall proportions and how the combination may look when worn.

How to Use the Try-On Feature

Visit our Watch Straps collection and select any strap you would like to explore.

On the product page, choose Try It on Your Watch, then upload your preferred photograph. The feature will create a visual preview using the strap you selected.

You can repeat the process with different colours, leathers and textures to compare several possibilities. This can be especially helpful when choosing between similar shades or deciding whether your watch suits a more classic, casual or vintage-inspired style.

For the clearest result, we recommend using a well-lit photograph taken from directly above the watch, with the dial clearly visible.

Explore More Than Just Colour

A strap can subtly change the entire personality of a watch.

Smooth leathers such as Swift or Barenia can create a clean and elegant appearance. Minerva Box brings a warmer, more vintage character, while Nubuck and Suede offer a softer and more relaxed impression. Our FKM Sailcloth collection introduces a more contemporary and practical look while retaining the slim profile and hand-finished character of our leather straps.

Trying these materials directly on your own watch allows you to explore combinations you may not initially have considered.

You might begin by looking for a neutral grey and discover that a warm brown complements the dial more naturally. Or you may find that a muted blue or green brings out a small detail in the watch without drawing too much attention away from it.

Still Unsure? We Are Happy to Help

The Try-On feature offers a convenient way to begin exploring, but choosing a strap is still a personal decision.

If you are deciding between several options, you are always welcome to send us a photograph of your watch, together with the combinations you are considering. We would be delighted to offer our thoughts and help you find a strap that feels naturally suited to both your watch and your personal style.
