This Kurono, shared by one of our clients, is paired with a custom Togo Craie strap.

Client Note

Against the deep black dial, Togo Craie creates a contrast that feels fresh and distinctive without becoming overly bold.

Craie is not a stark white. Its soft, warm undertone allows it to sit naturally alongside the polished steel case, while giving the dark dial a lighter and more relaxed presence on the wrist.

The contrast also brings greater attention to the finer details already present within the watch. The blue hands appear more vivid, while the warm minute track and Breguet-style numerals become more noticeable against the surrounding monochrome tones.

Togo leather adds subtle character through its natural grain. Rather than competing with the details of the dial, the texture gives the pairing a more tactile and understated quality.

The result feels clean, balanced, and slightly unexpected—a darker watch presented with a noticeably lighter personality.

Material Note — Togo Craie

Togo Craie is a warm, softly muted off-white with a naturally relaxed character.

Compared with a pure white strap, Craie creates a gentler contrast. Its subtle beige undertone makes it easier to wear while retaining the fresh appearance that allows darker dials and polished cases to stand out.

The distinctive grain of Togo leather gives the surface visual depth, particularly under natural light. At the same time, the leather remains soft and comfortable on the wrist, making it well suited to everyday wear.

Craie works particularly well with black, navy, and other dark-colored dials. It introduces brightness without feeling too formal or pristine, offering a simple way to give a familiar watch a fresher and more individual character.
