Natural Leather Characteristics

Atelier Tamago straps are crafted from carefully selected natural leathers. As a natural material, leather may feature unique grain variations, growth marks, insect bites, or minor scars that developed during the animal's life.

Each strap is handmade individually, and slight variations or subtle handcrafting marks may be present. These characteristics are not defects but part of what makes every strap unique.

Care & Maintenance

Leather is a natural material that develops character over time. To help your strap age gracefully, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water, sweat, alcohol, perfumes, cosmetics, and other chemicals.

If the strap becomes damp, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Regular rotation between straps can also help extend their lifespan.

Installation

All standard straps are fitted with quick-release spring bars for easy installation.

After attaching the strap, please ensure both spring bars are fully engaged and securely seated in the lugs before wearing your watch. 

Shipping & Production Time

Ready-to-Ship Straps
Orders containing in-stock straps are typically dispatched within 3 business days.

Made-to-Order Straps
Most custom and made-to-order straps require approximately 4–6 weeks for production before shipment.

Production times may vary slightly depending on leather availability and order volume.

Returns & Exchanges

Because leather is a natural material, straps will begin to show signs of wear once installed or worn.

Standard-size straps may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they remain unused, undamaged, and suitable for resale.

Custom-made straps, personalized items, and special orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless a manufacturing defect is present.

Color & Appearance

All product photographs are taken using real Atelier Tamago straps.

Please note that leather appearance may vary slightly due to natural material characteristics, lighting conditions, photography settings, and individual screen displays. Minor differences in color, grain, and texture should be expected and are part of the beauty of genuine leather.

Every Atelier Tamago strap is crafted individually by hand in small batches. No two straps are exactly alike. We believe these subtle differences are what give handmade leather goods their unique character and charm.
