Client Notes — Ressence × Etain Togo
Some straps don’t try to define a watch.
They simply become part of how it is worn.
This note comes from a client sharing a quiet moment with his Ressence, paired with Etain in Togo leather.

Client Note — from Greg
**“A very unusual combination, perhaps a first for AT to be paired with a Ressence. This peculiar independent piece asks for anything but crocodile, its a watch that distills from almost every watchmaking norm, and following this philosophy (at least to an extent) in choosing a strap for it felt genuinely necessary.
The grey accents on the dial essentially set the tone to what would work best here. A neutral and calm shade, not to overpower the beautiful color and subtle texture the dial carries. A warmer strap would’ve been a bit too much, possibly. The suppleness of the togo leather helps the watch feel right home on the wrist, still keeping its original spirit of being worn unpretentiously.”**
Material Note
Togo leather brings a soft, almost tactile calmness to the watch.
The grain is present, but never loud. It gives the strap enough texture to feel alive in the hand, while still keeping the overall impression understated.
On the wrist, it supports the watch without framing it — allowing the dial to remain the focal point, exactly as intended.
