The Togo Étain turned out to be a perfect match for the Reverso — on both faces.
On the classic white dial side, the strap brings balance and quiet strength. The soft grey tone complements the steel case beautifully, adding texture without stealing attention from the Art Deco lines. It feels natural, almost as if it could have been an original factory pairing.
When flipping to the blue dial, the magic really shows. The subtle depth of the Étaín plays surprisingly well with the rich blue, grounding it and preventing it from feeling too vibrant. Instead of competing, the strap frames the dial and lets it shine.
In direct sunlight, the Togo leather reveals its character. The grain comes alive — you can see the fine texture, the natural variation, the way light hits the surface and creates small highlights across the pebbled pattern. It adds dimension and warmth, especially against the polished steel of the case.
It’s one of those combinations that doesn’t scream for attention — it simply works, in a very confident way.
